Several years ago,the Virgina/Maryland sniper was going around killing people and no one knew who this was so many people were very scared to go out and do anything since this sniper was just shooting anyone, no target on a individual, just shooting someone that they didn’t even know.

With the sniper still on the loose, it was time to start working a Halloween trail, which the owers considered not to have, but decided to go on with their life and plans. I was collecting money at the attendance booth and the security guard, that was hired, came up to me and told me that the sniper had shot someone in Ashland,Virgina ,knowing that this distance wasn’t that far from where the trail  was being held. The security guard , which was a policeman. was just as scared as me  knwoing that being in the woods,with alot of people coming to visit he trail, this could be the exact place that the sniper could hit next. We were so frightened, more mentally than anything , but I had the guard to stand in front of the booth, so if the sniper was to shoot, I wouldn’t get shot, and not knowing who this person or persons were, who may had been dressed up in a costume that would possibly visit the Halloween trails, I would be the first to be in contact with the sniper which become a very mental stress for me,but thank God he never hit the Halloween trail that I was working.
