• On-the-Job Training Manual for Highway Construction In Virginia

The OJT Manual was revised in January of 1995 as a joint project of VTCA and the Virginia Department of Transportation. The manual provides a standard construction OJT program, approved by VDOT and the Federal Highway Administration. Call for a copy (804-330-3312).

• Standard Job Classifications and Descriptions For Highway Construction in Virginia

This booklet aids in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires minimum wage rates for defined job classifications on federally funded or assisted transportation construction contracts. Updated in January of 1993, the booklet includes job classifications and descriptions for craft and operator titles that are normally used on highway projects in Virginia. The cost for members is $4.00. The cost for non-members is $5.00.
