GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES INITIAL
TRANSPORTATION TOWN HALL MEETINGS
We expect the Governor to announce a special session of
the General Assembly and release his transportation
funding proposal by Monday May 12.
Today, the Governor announced the schedule for the
first two of a series of 8-10 statewide town hall
meetings on his transportation funding proposal.
All town hall meetings are open to the public and
media. No sign-in is required to attend or ask
questions.
It is absolutely essential that our members and
their employees attend these meetings and show our
support for the Governor's transportation funding
initiatives.
