Aggregate Producer Leadership Committee

Mission Statement
The Aggregate Producer Leadership Committee (APLC) of the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) is committed to representing the unique interests of the Aggregate Producer Membership of the Alliance through authority granted by the VTCA Board of Directors.

The APLC shall represent and advance the interests of all aggregate producer members through its own meetings, promotion and support of aggregate producer committees and through liaison with the VTCA Board of Directors. The APLC shall advance the interests of its members and the Alliance by promoting open communication between the Aggregate Producer Membership and all other membership groups within VTCA. The APLC promotes mutual cooperation with government agencies and establishes policy for the Aggregate Producer members within the best interests of VTCA.

Subcommittee Roster

The Operations Committee shall represent the VTCA and the Aggregates Producers Leadership Committee (APLC) in its support of the community through our focused participation in the Virginia Association of Science Teachers (VAST) conference, the VTCA Community Impact Award for aggregate producers, and support of the Aggregates Scholarship fund.

In addition we shall proactively promote to industry members matters of importance as they relate to operational efficiencies and maintenance. We shall interact with the other committees of the Association on all matters of mutual concern, and shall promote training and education on operational efficiencies and maintenance throughout the membership by way of committee meetings and seminars.
