The Associate Leadership Committee (ALC) represents the varied interests
of the Associate members of the Alliance, providing Associates with an
active voice in Alliance affairs. Two Associates serve on the VTCA Board
of Directors. The Committee is composed of thirteen members representing
the following specialties: Asphalt and Petroleum Suppliers; Bonding and
Insurance; Cement Suppliers; Concrete Pipe and Precast Products;
Concrete Ready-Mix Suppliers; Equipment Distributors; General Materials
providers; Manufacturers; Pipe and Drainage Products; Professional
Services; and Steel and Metal Products; Traffic Control Devices. There
is also one at-large committee member.
Specifically the committee works to:
- Establish a channel through which Associates can actively
interface with the VTCA Board of Directors;
- Foster an open communications environment through which Associate
Members can be directly involved in industry activities affecting
their interests;
- Create a stronger Associate Membership through unity;
- Sponsor the Associate Scholarship Program.
